Privacy-first wellness monitoring for everyday routines

Saorse turns simple in-home motion events into calm activity insights for trusted family members and caregivers. It helps answer whether the day appears to be moving normally without watching, listening, or asking anyone to wear a device.

Caregiving should not require surveillance

Families want confidence that a loved one is moving through an ordinary day, while the person at home wants privacy, dignity, and independence. Most monitoring tools force one side to give something up.

"Did they have a normal day?"

You know their rhythm, but from a distance it is hard to tell whether today looks ordinary without turning every question into a phone call.

"Should I check in again?"

Too few check-ins can leave you wondering. Too many can feel like pressure. Families need a calmer middle ground.

"They won't use a camera."

Many independent adults are clear about their boundaries: no cameras, no wearable trackers, and no technology that makes home feel observed.

"Most tools feel too clinical."

Families looking for aging-in-place support often find medical devices, emergency systems, or premium monitoring services instead.

Why We Built Saorse

Saorse started with a simple problem. My grandmother wanted to live independently, but she did not want cameras in her home, would not wear an emergency pendant, and rarely carried her phone from room to room.

When we looked for affordable options, most systems felt too intrusive, too expensive, or required too much daily participation.

Saorse was created to help families gain peace of mind while preserving privacy, dignity, and independence.

Independence for the person at home. Peace of mind for the people who care.

Built around the boundaries families care about

Saorse gives loved ones reassurance without asking the person at home to give up privacy, comfort, or control.

No Cameras

Nothing records rooms, faces, visitors, or private moments inside the home.

No Wearables

No pendants, wristbands, phone apps, charging habits, or daily compliance.

No Audio Recording

Saorse does not listen to conversations, recognize voices, or capture sound.

Privacy First

Loved ones get meaningful updates while the person at home keeps their dignity.

Designed Around Privacy

Many monitoring systems rely on cameras, microphones, or devices someone has to remember to wear. Saorse takes a different approach.

We focus on activity patterns, not surveillance. The goal is to help families stay informed while allowing individuals to maintain dignity, privacy, and independence.

  • No video or audio, ever.
Families see routine context, not conversations, appearances, or private moments.
  • Your household stays yours.
We do not sell household activity data or use it for advertising.
  • Designed for consent and control.
The goal is reassurance with boundaries, not constant observation.
  • You control who sees what.
Household access is limited to the trusted caregivers invited into the account.

How Saorse Works

1
Place motion sensors in key areas

Add small motion sensors in places like the kitchen, hallway, living room, bedroom doorway, or bathroom hallway. Saorse looks for patterns, not video or conversations.

2
Connect supported Aqara devices

Already have compatible Aqara devices? Saorse is designed to work with supported Aqara motion sensors and hubs. Starting from scratch? A simple starter setup can use two hardware items that are typically less than $100 combined.

3
Saorse learns normal routines

Over time, Saorse looks at activity patterns such as morning movement, kitchen activity, hallway movement, and longer periods of inactivity.

4
Families receive insights

Invited caregivers can see activity insights and receive alerts when patterns appear unusual, such as unexpected inactivity or meaningful changes in routine.
